Ultrasound services are now available in-house.
Our ultrasound technician, Ashley Geyer, is certified to provide vascular studies as well as general ultrasound.
Also called a sonogram or ultrasound scanning, ultrasound obtains images from inside the body using high-frequency sound waves. The reflected sound wave echoes are recorded and displayed as real-time visual images on a computer screen. This procedure is most common in determining the condition of a pregnant woman and her embryo or fetus. Ultrasound is also useful in examining many of the body's internal organs, including the heart, liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, and bladder.
